We are reviewing a new version of the study for Prague’s Bubny-Zátory district
At the end of June 2026, AutoMat took part in a public hearing and a separate meeting on the second version of the planning study for the Bubny-Zátory brownfield. We had already submitted comments on the study several years ago.
The new version represents a positive step forward, but some specific proposals still need further refinement, particularly cycling infrastructure on Argentinská and Bubenská streets, safe movement throughout the entire new neighbourhood, and parking.
Based on this, AutoMat is preparing new comments calling for several possible cycling solutions to be assessed, for international best practices to be taken into account, and for further discussion of specific parts of the area to continue.
Members of the public can submit comments until 13 July 2026. More information is available on the City of Prague website.
