We contributed to a new two-way bike lane on Jungmannova Street

Jungmannova Street in Prague is finally fully accessible for cyclists in both directions! We’re thrilled that after more than a year of negotiations with the Prague 1 Transport Commission and the councilor, we managed to implement a contra-flow bike lane and adjust parking.

Our original LAB proposal underwent minor changes, but it still ensures a comfortable and safe ride from Wenceslas Square and Národní Street to Karlovo náměstí. Previous routes via Vodičkova and Národní Streets, with cobblestones and tram tracks, were only for adrenaline lovers.

The redesign of the street in front of the Prague City Hall also shows that switching parking from angled to parallel does not create major problems. On the contrary, it helps increase safety for all road users. A big thank-you goes to the Prague 1 Municipal Office and councilor Vojtěch Ryvola.
