What do we do?
We monitor transport policy and watch over city politicians and officials to make sure they work in the public interest. We bring them and the public inspiration from abroad, we create research and analyses, we organize bike rides, discussions, film screenings and we also express our views of the city's plans. Sometimes we write petitions and if things don't go well, we go to court (so far, always successfully).
Since 2006, we have been coordinating the September neighborhood festivities Zažít město jinak (Take Back Your Street). Together with volunteer local organizers, we activate neighbors and transform (at least for one day) city streets from traffic arteries into oases of community life.
We support children, parents and teachers so that they can travel around the city safely, healthily and sustainably. We prepare field programs, competitions, videos and regular cycling consultation workshops for adults.
By bike, scooter, by walk or run. Since 2011, as part of (and not only) the May´s Bike to Work challenge, we have been motivating tens of thousands of people to move actively and sustainably on their own, to change their transport habits and to think about their impact on public space. Based on their route data, we negotiate with cities to improve infrastructure.
The editorially independent online magazine is an information and assistance center for anyone who uses a bicycle as a means of transportation, or would like to start doing so. Here you will find practical cycling guides, information about closures or inspiration from around the world.

Why to support us?
Help us make our cities safer, healthier and more pleasant places to live. Places where you can breathe well, where you live communally and which do not function only on the principle of money and the rights of the stronger. Help us tame the traffic thinking of politicians and officials stuck in the middle of the last century, bring inspiration from abroad and allow children to get to school in a different way than with the “parental taxi service”.
Are any of our topics more important to you? Do you have a particular problem and want to change it? Support a project close to you. With your help, we will be able to work continuously and systematically on sustainable cities with active transport and friendly public space.
